Da Vinci’s Style
I have always admired Leonardo Da Vinci’s work and style. He was a constant work addict, making me think he never got much sleep in his life, which he did not, as I found out. He only got a short amount of sleep in different time intervals, making some days have more or less than 2 hours of sleep. To me, that was pure dedication, but in the back of my mind, it makes me be grateful that I barely get 7 hours of sleep a day. His works were filled with more than just artistic attributes like sketches, shading, form, and dynamics, they helped math, science, study notes, and more. I did the same back in college to see if I remembered correctly and if I understood the subject hours before. It helped me through a lot and I try and live a modern style of Da Vinci’s works.
Don’t get me wrong, every artist has his/her own style and life that derives them to make and perform art practices or important works. After college and getting a job in Graphic Design for a sports company an hour away, I barely have time as it is to do personal work. I would say if you as an artist want a drastic change to perform more on your art, make a good schedule, create a time-blocking method, or just make time as you possibly can in between things you have to get done in that day. Make time for art and make it perfect the way you want it to be.
