Building Patience

Patience. This was something I had to learn due to bad decision-making and life events that test us at our worst times. An artist needs patience. That is set in stone for hundreds of years of artists developing skills and passing down knowledge. Artists like Leonardo Da Vinci would practice more than just months on a piece, but nearly years to ensure the perfection of the piece was both ever pleasing and finished. Rembrandt's practice with printmaking wasn’t a fast-paced drawing like the usual videos on TikTok we see every day swiping on our phones. It dealt with repetition, sureness, and confidence that made The Three Trees in 1643 a masterpiece that would sell for more than 300,000 pounds to this day. Not only is practice very essential to artists and creators around the world in all forms, but better for everyone to live a peaceful life.
